We don’t have a relationship with any of the insurance companies. We don’t because most insurance policies fall short of covering for shoes and custom foot orthotics. Most insurance policies say they’ll only cover shoes and foot orthotics for diabetic patients who are experiencing an assortment of complications. The list keeps getting longer and more exhaustive. We do have the ability to provide your patients with the necessary documentation to submit the medical expense to the insurance company. They will process the submission and then let you know what they’re going to do on their end. We always like to under promise with the insurance stuff because we never know what they’re going to do. We just know coverage is very rare. We do accept HSA and FSA cards, we’ve got the highest quality custom foot orthotics in town, and our pricing is at the industry’s floor. Yes, HSA and FSA cards can be used at our stores to purchase shoes, custom orthotics, and OTC insoles, etc. Shoes and custom orthotics are considered durable medical equipment and unlike other shoe stores in the area, we are accepting the use of these cards.
